Can I buy tickets at the door?

Couples and single females can purchase tickets on the door. However, door prices are generally £10 more than online prices. Please check the website beforehand to ensure the event is not sold out.
What are your opening hours?

Doors open: 8pm Members-Only Happy Hour: 8pm - 9pm No entry after: 12 am Bar closes: 3 am * This may differ slightly per party - please check the event listing for details.
Do you allow private hire of the club? Private parties, photoshoots, filming, etc.

We do allow private hire of the venue for parties, photoshoots, private play sessions, filming and other purposes. If you're interested please fill in our form here.
What is the average age range?

We have a broad average age range from mid 20s to mid 40s but we warmly welcome anyone over the age of 21.
What can I expect?

We are a venue, community and a safe space to meet like-minded people in the lifestyle. Expect a friendly and welcoming group of fellow sex positive lifestyle friends and playmates. This is a zero pressure environment, you can come along to enjoy a cocktail and a flirt and then see where the night leads you. Penthouse is just like a big sexy nightclub with a maze of playrooms to explore to your fetishes, fantasies and desires.
Is play guaranteed?

Absolutely not! You are never guaranteed to play with any person at any event or swingers club. Verbal consent is required at all times and can be revoked at any point.
What is the dress code?

We often suggest dressing like what you'd wear to a nightclub/bar, or sexier... Many women wear something sexy like lingerie or risqué outfits. Wear something that makes you feel sexy and liberated, yet comfortable. Clothing is optional! Gentlemen, put some effort in to match the ladies! NO light coloured, bleached or ripped jeans. NO shorts, vests or sportswear including hoodies and sweatshirts. NO flip flops, work boots, training/sports style footwear. Smart trainers allowed!
What should I bring along?

Please bring your photo ID to ensure entry. We recommend you bring condoms and practice safe sex at all times. We also sell condoms at reception if you forget! You can bring you play bag, towels, change of outfit - lockers are available for a small refundable deposit. DO NOT bring alcohol, we have a licensed bar onsite. The use of drugs is also STRICTLY forbidden.
Am I expected to play, or can I come to be social?

There's never any pressure to get involved with play! You're more than welcome to come along for a drink, dance and to let your hair down and socialise. Or maybe you'd just like a chill in the hot tubs. The night is totally yours! Please do make an effort to socialise, lurkers make people uncomfortable and you may be asked to leave if a complaint is made.
How do I apply for membership?

You must apply for membership online, you cannot sign up at the door. Please sign up for an online account and set a password (remember this for later!). Once you have signed up for an online account you will be invited to complete a membership application. You will need to submit your details, as per your legal ID and upload copies of your photo ID (e.g. passport or driver's license) and proof of address (e.g. utility bill or statement).
How long will my membership take to process?

The membership application could take up to 3 days. Once you have been approved you will be sent a confirmation email which includes a link to purchase your membership plan. As soon as you have paid for your plan you'll be able to attend as members. Your membership card may take up to a week to create, but you do not need this for entry straight away.
Do I need to be a member to attend events?

For couples and single females there are non-member tickets available to buy online, for most events. Please check our Upcoming Events page to purchase tickets. Single males MUST be members to attend all Penthouse events.
Can single males come to the events?

Yes! Single males can attend SOME events at Penthouse Playrooms. Please check the specific event listing for details. PLEASE NOT: Single males require membership to attend all Penthouse events and you must purchase tickets online. Please note, you will only be accepted if you meet our requirements and pass our vetting process below. Single males must have a verified profile on sites such as SDC, Fabswingers, Swinging Heaven, etc. They must have recent and good MEET verifications/validations from other verified members.
We have two single memberships, can we purchase a couples ticket?

No. Only couples with couple membership can purchase couples tickets. You can attend as a couple, but please purchase a non-member couple ticket. PLEASE NOTE: We expect you to come together, stay together and play together. If complaints are raised from couples about a male behaving as a single, both people may be asked to leave the event.
Are there wet facilities and do I need to bring towels?

There are wet facilities including two jacuzzis and a luxury shower room. You may bring your own towels or we offer towels for a small hire fee.
Do you have lockers and changing rooms available?

We have a large number of lockers available on a first come first served basis. We'd recommend arriving early if you'd like a locker. We take a £10 fully refundable deposit at reception. There are changing rooms available.
Is there accommodation and parking nearby?

You can find a list of local recommended hotels on our About page, click here for details. There's limited parking directly outside Penthouse, we'd suggest parking in the free council car park just across the road from the petrol station - Westfield Carpark, 11 Westfield Rd, Dunstable LU6 1LF
Is there a smoking area?

Yes, we have a comfortable smoking area outside in the courtyard which is heated in winter.
